Re: Open RPG 1.8.0 - A Few Missing Pieces
I moved the "default_layout" XML file to each 'myfiles' directory, and it remained as per the picture posted in the OP. I maximized the program window and moved each thing. The blue highlight of the first bar to the Player Key is where my mouse should be, but what with Print-Screen, it does not show the arrow. I am able to touch it, though, when the Gametree box is moved or turned off. I can move the bar at its bottom from left to right and vice-versa, but I cannot expand the Player Key's box at all.

Can you see any errors in your debug window? Or, if you are running Traipse, your Debug Console.

Re: Open RPG 1.8.0 - A Few Missing Pieces
oh!! You are having problems finding etree.
Can you give me a run down like that with Traipse? I have a hard time working with Standard simply because it remains bug filled, IMHO, and it sounds like your problem is a little more global. So if I could fix the problem for Traipse than you might be able to fix it for Standard as well.

Triapse itself will not open, and the Traipse (Debug) closes within a second.

Re: Open RPG 1.8.0 - A Few Missing Pieces
Can you find a file called crash_report.txt and post it's contents here? It's in the System subfolder,
You said the layout looked the same on Traipse .. when did it stop opening?

Re: Open RPG 1.8.0 - A Few Missing Pieces
...I am sorry.
Originally, I was sure that Traipse itself was something added to the original Open RPG, such as an add-on.
When you asked about finding a specific debug console, I went looking again and found the Traipse folder.
This was win I actually attempted to open Traipse and then the Debug console, getting my previous answers.
Also, the Traipse folder has two System directories in it (System, and System-1). I checked them both, but I found no "crash_report.txt".

Re: Open RPG 1.8.0 - A Few Missing Pieces
ok .. Are there contents within either System or System-1?
Where did you download Traipse from? It's not an add-on, it's a completely different distribution of OpenRPG.
EDIT: Did you make a mistake and copy one version's contents to anothers?

Re: Open RPG 1.8.0 - A Few Missing Pieces
The contents, as I have checked, are exactly the same from System to System-1. Also, no, I changed nothing per the Traipse installation. That is to say that I did not pick a directory for it to install into save the one it provided. I also downloaded Traipse from here: http://www.assembla.com/spaces/traipse/documents

Re: Open RPG 1.8.0 - A Few Missing Pieces
Alright, let's do this so we can see what the error is. 1. Click Start then Run. Enter 'cmd' (no quotes) into the Run line, and press enter. 2. Move to the Traipse directory: (enter this into your Command Prompt) - cd\
- cd Program Files
- cd Traipse
3. Run Traipse: (this way) 4. Post screen shot here please.
