Well I thought this sounded familiar but I can't find anything that was like this recently. If anyone has any better ideas feel free to chime in
It sounds like the processing of messages and so on is going fine since the other users can see the images. Are you unable to see the images they put on the map by the way? And are you unable to see the images when you're not connected to any server?
What happens -- do you get the "loading...." image instead of what you should see, or do you see nothing at all?
Try this with the photobucket url: From the menu select Chat / Chet Settings / Chat Window / Show Images and then type <img src="http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l61/DavidByron20/crater2.png" /> (while substituting your own photobucket image if you like) and see if you get the image showing up ion your chat window.
What operating system are you on?

OK, do you mean the OpenRPG updater doesn't work for you somehow? When you start up OpenRPG you get the OpenRPG Updater dialog. Are you saying that if you try to update then you fail somehow? What happens? If you just hit the skip button does that go alright?
