Due to the program becoming unstable I upgraded to 1.8 and i've gotten everything working again, but I cannot for the life of me get the chat macros to work again. Hitting F1 thru F12 gives me nothing at all and changes my status to typing. It doesn't even give you the old standby of /me found the F1 key like it used to. Any ideas?

A couple questions.

1. Are you using Standard or Traipse?
2. What is your Operating System?

Probably a bug I introduced though I thought I had checked F-keys.
I'll have to look at it tonight.

prof.ebral does it happen on Traipse too?

Nope. It is working in the most recent Stable.

Hm. My 1.8.0 and my 1.8.0+ developer both have the F keys working correctly. I believe it is correct for the F keys to tap the "typing" status isn't it? Or is that a bug? At any rate it proves OpenRPG recognises the keys are being pressed.

I assume you upgraded all the way through to 1.8.0.4 (unfortunately it isn't easy to tell). Huh. Silly question but I suppose your settings are not screwy are they? if you go to settings / chat / chat macros you do have text assigned to the F keys?

Do you get any errors mentioned anywhere?

Not sure what to say about this one. Perhaps your setting.xml file is corrupted. You could try deleting it (or renaming it if you want to save it) and then see if the new one OpenRPG creates for you works any better.
