I've attempted to install the current build of OpenRPG on my dual-core Win7 system twice now and, while I've apparently been able to install both Python builds, when I try to open OperRPG all I get is the window you get when you try to use the Command Prompt, only with no prompt (and I don't know if there is a single thing in WIn7 that still uses the command prompt!). I don't recall anything I did wrong -- I put everything in the default locations which should work. It is not asking me whether I want to run as administrator so I don't think that's it. Does anyone know what's going on and whether I should get it patched somehow.

Are you using python 2.7?

It downloaded Python 2.6 when I downloaded OpenRPG. Think that's the problem?

No, it should be working with python 2.6

Well, I tried downloading Python 2.7. I got some text in the command prompt window flashing by, but it still didn't open the program itself.

What else could be going on?

I think you misunderstood me. Neither OpenRPG fork is ready for python 2.7: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=496

There should be a file called crash-report.txt that is generated. Can you post the output of it here?

On a side note, I don't really do tech support for non-Traipse versions. Sorry man, but if they are actively developing they can actively provide tech support also.
