Post Re: Browsing servers not working.
I've been using http://orpgmeta.appspot.com/ since it was first put out, and I've been making sure my players use it when they put in fresh installs. My two players, plus myself are unable to load the server listing using http://orpgmeta.appspot.com/, though we can each access the listing in a web browser. This is repeatable in both 1.8 standard and Traipse.

I am experiencing that second hand and finding it most peculiar. The old page simply forwarded users to the new page, so i don't see how it is not working.

I can access the meta on all my OS's with the new Meta URL

Do you have the address for the old page so that it can be checked.

The page may have expired and is no longer forwarding to the new page.

I've run across this before where a page will only forward for a set amount of time then it just stops.

Sometimes a page will forward forever sometimes not, I think it depends on the host.

It might be worth looking at.

On a hunch I decided to take a look inside the cache. After changing the settings to the current metaurl, shutting the client down deleting the metaservers.cache file, and starting the client back up it still produced this:
Code:
http://www.openrpg.com/openrpg_servers.php 1 2

I shut the client down, manually edited the metaservers.cache so it looked like this:
Code:
http://orpgmeta.appspot.com/  1 2

It works now.

Thanks for the info, GM_MD. I will see if the source code is producing that error.

Chrimy, didn't realize the domain had expired. That domain should start working again soon. Good thing we moved the meta server awhile back.
